it ages gracefully, providing pleasure both now and for years to come.I am an experienced and empathetic landscape and garden designer working for over twelve years to
create New England gardens that enhance people's lives and enrich their
spirits.I provide a wide range of
landscape and garden design services: including on-site property reviews (where
I leave you with new insights and design sketches) up to full landscape designs
and/or garden plans (resulting in complete scale drawings and plant
lists).   And I have worked on
projects of all sizes, from small in-town properties to large country estates.

As an educator I give
presentations and classes on landscape and garden design to a wide variety of
organizations, including garden clubs, senior groups, and Master
Gardeners.  Everything is
illustrated with beautiful photographs of Vermont gardens.

I
bring a unique blend of the artistic and the quantitative to all my
endeavors.  I studied landscape
design at Vermont Technical College. 
As a Vermont Certified Horticulturist I have an excellent knowledge of
trees, shrubs and perennials that will thrive in our climate, and as a Vermont
Master Gardener I bring a practical understanding of real gardening.
